Hi everyone -Thrive Philanthropy continues to expand the size and sophistication of the global anti-factory farm and protein diversification movement. As of January 2025, we are expanding the movement in half the world's countries through grants and capacity, including facilitating the growth of the movement in 50 countries with nascent and emerging advocacy efforts. And we continue to facilitate the exponential growth of the Africa plant-based movement in 67% of African countries.

@vascoamaralgrilo Hi Vasco, great question & thank you for taking an interest in Thrive. We do a meta-evaluation of our grantmaking to ascertain various outcomes, one being the approximate equivalent reduced number of animals consumed. However, in order to finalize this part of the evaluation, we would need to pay a one-time cost to hire an outside consultant to create the animals saved calculator. To date, we haven't had the budget to do this. So in short, we're collecting the data to answer your question, but won't be able to finalize it until if/when we have a donor interested in covering the one-time extra cost.
